TNPSC Group 2: The last date to apply for TNPSC Group 2 and 2A has been extended till the night of July 20. A notification in this regard has been issued by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC).

 A total of 2,327 vacancies will be filled through Group 2 and 2A. First phase tnpsc group 2 of the exam will be held on the date of sep 14 [ 14 -Sep-2024 ].

TNPSC Group 2 and 2A Exam 2024: 

The notification for the Group 2 and 2A exam for the year 2024 was released on June 20. A total of 2,327 posts including 507 posts of Assistant Inspector, Deputy Commercial Tax Officer, Sub-Registrar Grade II, Special Branch Assistant, Forest Guard in Group 2 and 1,820 posts of Assistant Inspector, Assistant, Revenue Assistant, Accountant in Group 2A are being filled.

Applications will be accepted online through July 19. In view of the fact that the candidates have complained to the Commission that they are unable to pay the application fee online due to technical reasons, the time limit for submission of application and payment of examination fee has been extended till 11.59 pm today night (20.07.2024). Those who have not applied yet can apply online.

The TNPSC Group 2 and 2A exam will be held on the basis of preliminary exam and main exam this year. The exam held for Group 2 and 2A posts and the main exam. The main examination new all portion & syllabus available done on the official website of www.tnpsc.gov.in TNPSC.

TNPSC Group 2 preliminary exam:

The preliminary examination for Group 2 and 2A posts will be held on September 14. The preliminary examination will be conducted for 200 marks in the subjects of General Knowledge and Aptitude, Mental Ability and Language. The general knowledge section will be conducted at the degree level, while the skill, mental arithmetic and language section will be conducted at the tenth grade. The preliminary exam is a qualifying exam.

Bachelor's or Master's degree holders in Arts, Science, Commerce, Law, Computer Science, Computer Application and Banking Management are eligible to apply for these posts. Candidates who have passed the Tamil typing and shorthand examination in the government technical examination and the junior level examination in hand typing and shorthand are also eligible to apply.
