Tamil Nadu Finance Minister Thangam Thennarasu presented the budget in the state assembly. In this, additional funds have been allocated for various schemes of the Tamil Nadu government. Accordingly, Minister Thangam Thennarasu has announced that new people will be given the opportunity to apply soon so that new people can receive the Kalaignar Magalir Urimai Thogai scheme Rs. 17,300 crore will be allocated for Kalaignar Magalir Urimai Thogai scheme in the financial year 2025-2026. In the financial status report, Thangam Thennarasu also said that companion hostels will be built in 10 more places for the convenience of working women.
