With just seven months to go for the elections, the election campaign is in full swing. Vijay has decided to show the batallam to the youth in a grand way at the Madurai convention and is going to tour in succession. Some of the election manifestos are also expected to be released during the visit.

However, the question on everyone's mind is which constituency Vijay will contest from. Because even if TVK doesn't win, Tamilaga Vetri kazhagam can progress to the next stage only if Vijay wins. If the DMK and the AIADMK want to retain their seats, Vijay will have to go to the assembly.

Vijay is contesting from Madurai West constituency. The party has identified 10 seats for Vijay to contest. Vijay has decided to contest from only one of the 10 constituencies - Tiruvottiyur, Virugambakkam, Velachery, Sholinganallur, Villupuram, Nagapattinam, Vriddhachalam, Cuddalore, Rishivandiyam and Thoothukudi.

It is said that Vijay will decide which of these 10 seats he wants to contest from. According to him, there should be more youth, minority votes, more women and TVK members and coastal areas.

The DMK leadership has also asked Vijay to know in advance which constituency he will contest and increase the strength of the DMK in that constituency. The DMK has decided to field a strong candidate against Vijay. The DMK had fielded Annamalai as its candidate in Coimbatore in the last Lok Sabha elections.

The second State conference of the Tamilaga Vetri kazhagam will be held in Madurai on November 21. Preparations are underway for that. It is 200 feet long and 60 feet wide. A 800-feet platform is also being set up for the TVK's leader Vijay to walk and see the volunteers up close.

The conference will be held from 3.15 pm to 7pm. As the preparations for the convention are in full swing, Vijay has issued a statement inviting the TVK volunteers.tvk.family
